The Hungarian Restaurant Association is a long-established, 23-year old professional organisation, which has been restructured and refreshed at the end of 2023, with new members and a new board.

The new board is made up of people who have shaped the Hungarian hospitality industry and are key restaurant owners in the sector. The businesses we represent serve millions of guests every year.

The association is an advocacy professional organisation that aims to develop the Hungarian gastronomic culture at all levels and in all segments, but its main objective is to improve the operational, management and legal environment and conditions of restaurants.

We are constructive partners of the sector's stakeholders, as well as of governmental and administrative bodies, municipalities and other organisations involved in gastronomy. We actively represent the interests of restaurants.

Our members are unstinting in their commitment to support the rise of the profession, sharing their knowledge and joining forces. Through their advocacy work they seek to shape relevant industry and legislative regulations.
